7PLANT est un producteur français.

Musicien depuis l’enfance il se met à la production plus tardivement de part ses influences. Jazz, Hip-Hop, ainsi que le Dub et le Reggae qui l'amène à des courants électronique tels que l'ambient, la jungle et l'IDM.

Son premier opus NO ZARAZA est la 40eme sortie de ABRI CATALOG.

Le producteur y présente pour la première fois son identité et sa palette sonore oscillant entre break beat, Ambient et dub techno.

A travers 12 tracks composés en triturant des machines tels que la TR-08, la TB-03, l'electribe et differents sampleurs, 7PLANT navigue dans son spectre musical dense et hypnotique.

Ce projet est un assemblage de plusieurs de ses compositions retravaillées pour aboutir à une tracklist en entité cohérente et monolithique.

NO ZARAZA est un plongeon dans l'univers des machines pour 7PLANT. Entre ambiances industriels, dubs technoides, drum N bass atmospherique et nappes expérimentales: l'éventail de sonorités chères au producteur est ici crystalisé.

Actif en tant que DJ, 7plant à travaillé avec ABRI sur différents épisodes du podcast mensuel du label a retrouver sur Egregore.

7PLANT is a French producer. A musician since childhood, he delved into production later in life due to his diverse influences, including Jazz, Hip-Hop, as well as Dub and Reggae, which led him to electronic genres such as ambient, jungle, and IDM.

His debut album, "NO ZARAZA," marks the 40th release on ABRI CATALOG. For the first time, the producer showcases his musical identity, oscillating between breakbeat, ambient, and dub techno across 12 tracks. He crafted these tracks by manipulating machines like the TR-08, TB-03, electribe, and various samplers, guiding listeners through his dense and hypnotic musical spectrum.

This project is a fusion of several of his compositions, reworked to create a cohesive and monolithic tracklist. "NO ZARAZA" is a deep dive into the world of machines for 7PLANT, spanning industrial atmospheres, technoid dubs, atmospheric drum and bass, and experimental textures, encapsulating the array of sounds dear to the producer.

As an active DJ, 7plant has collaborated with ABRI on various episodes of the label's monthly podcast, which can be found on Egregore.

Machines used in the project include TR-08, TB-03, JX3P, elektron model sample, Korg electribe, pocket operator PO-12 & PO-14, and a modular synthesizer emulator.
