Fontaine, la sortie numéro 46 de ABRI est composé de 2 tracks du producteur Information Flash:

Fontaine I.II et Mantra 6.5

2 pistes d'environ 30 minutes chacune pensé comme les 2 faces d'une cassette audio que l'on peut aussi bien écouter dans sa chambre en fixant le plafond que sur l'autoradio d'une bagnole déglingué rentrant à toute allure d'une free party qui a viré au cauchemar.

Composé en 2 temps, ce projet débuta avec Fontaine I.II.

Créée en 2021 dans la Cave d'un Parking qui était Squatté et Investi par Pierrot La Fleur et Docteur Nounour. Cette track était une bande son accompagnant le travail des 2 artistes: de sublimes installations fleurissant d'amalgames de déchets, de tissus, de cristaux, de paillettes et de fumée.

Fontaine I.II a été conçue simultanément de la conception de leur sculpture "Fontaine" qui fut un temps exposée au "XX" puis finalement decomposé et données aux passants devant le parvis.
Une bande originale accompagnant l'œuvre plastique ainsi que son processus de création.

Un format qui lui évoque ses amours de jeunesse. Information Flash découvre au collège Homework de Daft Punk et dans le même temps des groupes corrosif tels que Slayer, Slipknot ou Pantera.

Son appétit pour les sonorités corrosives l'amène progressivement dans la spirale des free party et à des heures interminables de digage intensif sur le web. C'est lors de ces recherches qu'il découvre le dubstep et la jungle.

Progressivement Information Flash fait ses armes entant que disc jockey, une pratique qui alimente son amour du collage et de la couture sonore.

La seconde track Mantra 6.5 a été composé quelques mois après la première track par Information Flash dans sa chambre a Vitry.

C'est durant une seule semaine d'été brûlant que le producteur a créé cette piece durant de longues sessions dans une ambiance de vide et de chaleur.

Le producteur par ce processus s'intéresse alors à la conception d'un son "artisanal" qui tricote samples déniché sur YouTube et melodies de synthé nostalgique a la recherche d'erreurs, comme une sorte de rêve ou les scènes s'enchainent et ou a premiere vue il n'y a aucun lien entre elles mais qui finissent par se répondre et fonctionne comme une totalité.

Cette cassette est le résultat de ses années passées à triturer des sons sur Ableton, fasciné par des artistes jouant des codes de la rave et dance musique mais les transcendant tels que Oneohtrix Point Ever, Actress, Varg2 ou encore Lorenzo Senni.

Un jeu avec les codes pour les comprendre, les décortiquer puis les déstructurer. Un jeu onirique qui donne naissance à ne musique intemporel teinté de nostalgie, truffé d'hommage mais constamment en soif d'innovation.

"Fontaine," the 46th release from ABRI, consists of 2 tracks by the producer Information Flash: Fontaine I.II and Mantra 6.5.

These are two tracks, each approximately 30 minutes long, designed as the two sides of an audio cassette that can be listened to either in one's room while staring at the ceiling or in the beat-up car stereo of a vehicle rushing back from a free party turned nightmare.

This project was composed in two stages, starting with Fontaine I.II.

Created in 2021 in the basement of a squatted parking garage inhabited by Pierrot La Fleur and Doctor Nounour, this track served as a soundtrack accompanying the work of the two artists: sublime installations blooming with amalgams of waste, fabrics, crystals, glitter, and smoke.

Fontaine I.II was conceived simultaneously with the creation of their sculpture "Fontaine," which was once exhibited at "XX" and eventually decomposed and given to passersby in front of the plaza. It provided an original soundtrack to the plastic work and its creative process.

The format of this project evokes Information Flash's youthful loves. He discovered Daft Punk's "Homework" in middle school along with corrosive bands like Slayer, Slipknot, or Pantera.

His appetite for corrosive sounds gradually led him into the spiral of free parties and endless hours of intensive digging on the web. It was during these searches that he discovered dubstep and jungle.

Gradually, Information Flash honed his skills as a DJ, a practice that fueled his love for collage and sonic stitching.

The second track, Mantra 6.5, was composed a few months after the first track by Information Flash in his room in Vitry.

During a single scorching summer week, the producer created this piece during long sessions in an atmosphere of emptiness and heat.

Through this process, the producer became interested in creating an "artisanal" sound that knits together samples found on YouTube and nostalgic synth melodies in search of errors, like a sort of dream where scenes unfold seemingly unrelated at first but eventually respond to each other, functioning as a whole.

This cassette is the result of years spent tinkering with sounds on Ableton, fascinated by artists playing with the codes of rave and dance music but transcending them, such as Oneohtrix Point Never, Actress, Varg2, or Lorenzo Senni.

It's a game with codes to understand, dissect, and then deconstruct them. A dreamlike game that gives birth to timeless music tinged with nostalgia, filled with homage but constantly thirsty for innovation.
